Hey photo experts..
I am a relative newcomer to DSLR photography and am also a very much newcomer to using Photoshop.. Could you please spare your thoughts on these images, if I have overdone the pp. etc.
I think as a newcomer to photoshop my biggest habit is vignetting. I think I overuse this tool way too much.
Look forward to reading any comments.

the last one, i would have rather focused on the dogs eyes instead of the nose. All the rest look good imo

I like the first two. 3 might've been nice too but the bird's head is too much in shadow.

The first two stand out for me, the others seem to be slightly lacking in quality.

The first two look good. However, I'd like to see a little bit more room between the top edge of the frame and the tip of the dog's ear. You're also correct about the vignetting...its a bit much.

1 and 2 for me as well. 1 might look good with a square crop, but I'm not knocking it the way it is. 1 is also the only one that I like with that level of vignette.

5 is interesting, too--I've never seen a canary with a bad toupe.

I agree that the first two images are probably the best of all of them (why I put them first most likely). I also agree with the comment that the canary with shadow on its head probably ruins the shot, but was by far the best photo I had of him.
I decided a few days ago I was getting out of control with my vignetting!! :)
Thanks for the feedback.. I hope as time goes I can produce some kick ass images!
