I shoot all RAW with my 10D
I recently had some files that were unable to be converter. BreezeBroweser said they were corrupt.

The jpegs were also corrupt. (contained half the image)

All the images look fine in the camera.

I am not sure if something is happening in the transfer, or if the camera is corrupting them.

I am using an Iogear USB 2.0 Card reader.

Not sure what your problem is but the only time I had corrupt files was when I rotated images that were still on the card. What program are you using to view/convert?

I also noticed som jpegs were corrupt.

I was just at my dealer to return my D60 for repair and they told me that a lot of 10Ds were being returned for software fixes because of corrupt images. I'm surprised that a user can't apply the software/firmware fix but that's what they said...

I'm replying without having read recent postings so this might already be common knowledge.

It ever happened to me on my D60 not on the 10D when I do a format of the the CF card through the Card reader.

Suggest you sent it back to canon...

I had it happen again last night.
I took the corrupt card out of the card reader, plugged it back into the camera.

The images looked fine.
I then used the Canon Twain driver and Canon USB cable.
I transfered all the images to photoshop. It was fine.

I am thinking I have a problem with my card reader.

It seems to transfer a bunch of data, then stalls out.
then transfers, then stalls.

Anyone see this? Is this normal?

Is there software to test the transfer speed of my card reader?

I contacted Iogear's tech support already.
