We made it back to Sanibel Island last week. Had a fairly early start and, as other recent visitors have posted, were bitten to death by the bugs!! It didn't detract from the wonderful variety of birds we saw. Here's a small selection. Hope you like. C&C always appreciated and very welcome :D

Very pretty series, Sheryl. I'm fond of that hawk, myself.

Many thanks, Sharon and Judy. The hawk was amazing. We've hired a Mustang cabriolet for this trip and I was sitting on the back bit with the camera. The hawk was sitting literally just over my head as we were driving round. He posed very nicely for a couple of minutes before high-tailing it!

Great work Sheryl. So glad you had a nice visit and the birds cooperated.

My next Florida trip seems even farther away now seeing these beauties. Looking forward to seeing more from your sunshine state shoot.

Thank you Steve, thank you Ira. I'm just processing the Viera Wetland shots, and will get them up shortly. I'm so excited with what I saw, they'll be up soon. :D

An excellent set Sheryl,

I like 'em all. :)

The Red Shoulder, Tri-color, and Ibis with the foreground blur stand out for me.

A very nice trip it seems,

Kenn :)
