I popped minijack sockets into all of my 285's as it was the cheapest option and because I hate pc sync and the proprietory vivitar connection. OWSIU Senior Member 302 posts Joined Feb 2009 Location: Los Angeles, CA More info | Nov 03, 2010 21:43 | #5 If you're handy with a soldering iron, you could of chopped off the pc end of the included vivitar sync cable and soldered on either a male or female 1/8 mono plug, that's the direction I went with mine when I had them.
