Zuiko 35mm 2.8 PC

Anybody who swears by it ?? Is it as good as the newer Canon or as the Old batch of ts-e atleast. If anyone know id love to hear. I know from some people that in it sweet spot it is as good as the Zeiss 35mm pc and as good flare control. but how is it at 2.8 and is it worth it?

Love the input, esp since my 21ZE is in germany for repairs, and to know what happened just check out the 21mm thread, rather than asking here...

This lens can't be compared to any TSE offering for the simple reason that it doesn't tilt...perspective control (PC) only since it only shifts (up/down or left/right). Great little lens, nice and compact. Mine pretty much kicks butt at f/11. Not so great wide open (then again, my shooting doesn't need this). The Zeiss PC lens is better, but also much more expensive. There are some on-line testing comparisons at the 16-9 site between these two particular lenses...do a search and it should come up. But if you're looking for the tilt feature, neither of these lenses have it.

The Canon FD 35 TSE is a stellar lens, but it'll need a mount conversion for use on an EF body. I've seen some available for sale now and then, but these are somewhat expensive also.

cheers, this is what i thought, I really want the 45mm ts-e but they have become so expensive lately... and in the last days i have lost half my funding ( repair of 21mm and new hood to the 120-300mm)

p.s what would you say its worth?
