Samyang and AF-Confirm

I'm thinking of getting Samyang 85/1.4 and 14/2.8. I would like to have AF-Confirm on these but is it better getting the Nikon version with a Canon adapter? I don't like the idea of glueing a chip on a lens I might be selling in the future.

Also, is there any difference between a Nikon mount with Canon adapter compared to a chip on a Canon mount?
