This bull was 6 feet tall at the shoulder, just amazing. I am still trying to get what I consider a decent image of a Buffalo. I am having a hard time getting a good exposure. Any tips would be appreciated. I've found a place nearby where I can get within 25 feet of them and sometimes even closer.

These shots have a lot going for them, Paul. Looks like you have good color and DOF.

You might be able to brighten these up by selecting just the animal and adjusting levels.
The main problem is the light behind this dark subject. Fill flash maybe? If you can get the
sun at your back, that would help a lot. Or try again with some cloud cover.

Paul, you are very lucky to have this opportunity. Just keep at it--shoot lots.
What time of day did you take these? It looks to me like the sun was not a friend to you in these shots.
Maybe go earlier in the day--or on a cloudy day even to keep the highlights from blowing out.

Those are very good, have to agree with the background light, the headshot is fantastic. Quick story..I used to work at the Stock Show here in Denver, it was my job to unload the cattle, sheep, llamas, buffalo as they came in and put them in their pens. One night about 2am this one buffalo decides he's done with the pushing and prodding and goes berzerk, first thing he hits, me, and at the time I was about 5ft nothin' and 120 pounds, ran over me like I wasn't even there. Got lucky though, he hit me so hard I flew out of his path so I at least didn't get stepped on. Ok story over so to go on...............Joe
