Dug some shots out from my archives and decided to share. N220AU, c/n 46501, is the 2nd DC-10 off the line, built in 1970.

Flight Deck

I've never seen that before. It's a nice series on it.

I had the luxury of flying on a military KC-10 a week ago, but I have never seen anything like this.

I've only seen this plane once, and then only from a distance at PHX. Many thanks for giving us all a glimpse of what it's like inside!

Very interesting. I am curious about the Fedex plaque, if that's what it is.

There is also an L-1011 I've seen that is setup as a flying hospital, I think its used mainly in Africa.

It's parked by my work at Tucson International. I've only seen it fly once in the last 3 years.

Being an L10 I didn't think it would be around long, there's a reason no one is using them these days.

40 years is not "long" HUH?? The plane was the 2nd off the original assembly line in 1970!

Unfortunately, I couldn't get outside shots. I do have one of the tail, but that's about it. I'll post the tail and a couple more soon.
