Welcome to the forum.

Sorry, I can't check out your work because I don't "do Facebook".

As a general rule, forum members seem to be loath to visit other sites to look at a myriad of images and make general, but pertinent comments.

It will pay you to select one or two images and link to them here in POTN for people to critique.

My wisdom is learned from the experience of others.

I just noticed some peoples general dislike for links lol, I will post some pic's directly on here. For those who dont like go out of the site when I get home.

Thanks for the advice. For the record you do not have to be a member or use facebook to view these photos.

the shots look good - I like the different perspective and angles on the sails and I like the helm shot

Thanks doc,

That shoot was an epic fail for the most part, there was not alot of interesting shots, and the water was kinda choppy. It was hard to get clear shots, I got about 10 good I would say that day.

Welcome.
I like your 2 fence shots.

#1 and #3 are the best for me. I like the subject matter in #2, but the photo doesn't do it justice.

#1: Okay shot, but the horizon line is fairly well tilted. Need to keep those straight.

#2: As stated, could be some interesting subject matter in there. As shot, just too busy for me...my eyes are all over the place. Could be better suited for B/W.

#3: Nice vivid colors (nothing like John Deere green and yellow), but I'm missing what the subject may have been.

#4: Not much there for me, but good use of DOF. Again, maybe a B/W candidate.

#5: Another okay shot, looks like you've got close focusing and DOF down pat. I'd get rid of the big lens flare spot that's in the center of the image.

Good call on the horizon. I missed that and I'm usually right on top of those.

John deere looks fake... never seen one that clean!
I like #1 the best. I didn't notice the tilted horizon either. My eye went to the 2nd fence post to align the picture.

Thanks guys,
You are right about the horizon I never noticed that. Them Helm shot I do have black and whites of that as well. Most of the Photos from the sailing set are black and white or have the color pulled out, for me the tractor was not the subject the wheels and tires were. I thought the grass, tractor color and sky made a good back drop.
