Hi everyone, real quick questions...........

While I am working on my zenfolio page, and updating it,

How can I have it sate ''Site Under Construction'' and have it basically disabled until I am finished??

Also is there a way for me to still keep 1 photo and my name on the page along with that message??

Thanks in advance, I appreciate everyones help.

I've not had to do this but just a suggestion until someone comes along here to help. Check/search the help in Zenfolio and/or email their support. They usually respond pretty quick.

I have never seen that option anywhere Dustman. I "think" when you are updating , the site is business as usual for visitors though.

What I would do is take the photo you want to show into Photoshop and text over it "Site Under Construction". (fade, emboss, whatever) Save as a JPG and load it into your opening page slide show. (like I have the street scene loaded into mine)

Then make all your galleries private. When you are open for business, change all the galleries to public.

Once you upload your photos to Zenfolio, it will ask you if you want the gallery to be public or private. You can go back and change it at any time.
I'm using pretty much the standard design. There are many more options but I'm too lazy to investigate them. I don't use a direct link so if I'm googled, it leads to my Zenfolio site, not here.
