Hello fellow Canons...
Should I consider buying a Canon Vixia HF M32 Camcorder, (64GB Flash) or Vixia HF M31 (32GB Flash) or get both good Video and Photos with the Canon Rebel EOS Ti2 Rebel ?
I know it all depends what I'm going to use it for, but I already have a G6 Powershot, takes great photos, but shooting at Hi-res only yields about 30 secs, and 3 min with the lo-res setting, using a SanDisk EXTREME III (30MB/SEC write speed) CF card.
Is there any way to extend / prolong the record time using a higher class CF card in my G6 shooting @ Hi-Res? Kingston has the Class 4 133x,266x,and 600x, in 16GB, or 32 GB sizes.
.... OR am I limited with what I have on my G6 for video recording with the 30sec total video time, and no CF at all card will help prolong this time?
Shooting also at low light is virtually impossible with G6 Video. With the way HD is headed, The guy at best buy told me I should wait for the SHCD capabilities to come out with the newer cameras.
I saw a few videos shot with the Rebel Eos Ti2, at 30 Frames per second, along with time lapse with the Canon intervalometer (sold separately about $150.00) and also with the slow motion features of the camera.
I guess I want the best of both worlds, but don't want to sacrifice quality when playing back HD Video on my HDTV Display. Any Ideas? Thank you.
