I think the foreground is a little too busy. I'd do away with the trees and leave the statue, buildings, and sky.

I think you're right. I didn't like a few other aspects of it either so I'm removing. Adding a second pic from a capital city

There be halos on the l/h building and the odd coloured shadows just look strange. As it stands, nice image without the need for excessive pp.
