Fairy at the Renaissnce Festival

This is my first post of a picture, I hope it comes out right.
This was a girl at The Minnesota Renaissnace Festival. She
was so good at her art. She wouldn't speak, only smile and play her flute.

I love the expression, and it looks like you nailed the focus on her eyes.
Personally, I would rather see the rest of her hair and all that she has stuck in it. The costume is what makes this image unique. I realize that there may have been some distracting elements that you wanted to crop out.

Thanks for the reply.
The reason I composed as I did is because there were alot of people and as we were leaving she was there and I put the camera up just as she looked at me. I took the shot as soon as I could.

Sometimes the re-enactment types get a little too into character & put James Woods to shame for a character study, hehe.

Nice shot though & an instant capture too, well done :)


Just returned after many years hiatus from this forum. I was a bit of a prat before, if I ever offended you, I'm sorry

I've got all the equipment I need, now I just need inspiration :D
