Manfrotto ModoSteady + 7D

Manfrotto ModoSteady + 7D I know they are not up to Merlin steady cams. But its only a fraction of the cost, has anybody tried it with a 7D or similar DSLR.

I think they're not really designed for the weight of the 7D.

You'd have better luck with these, still cheap compared to the merlin but more effective than the modo:
