So im sitting here just having ordered my third macro, my first was a 100 Ef my second was a 50mm ZE and this last is 50mm SMc M42. I used to be all about L lenses and and canon. these days im 50/50. And while looking for lenses I always come across what I want but for another brand ie Nikon, Sigma or Sony.

This is just an open discussion, what i feel is that Im bogged down to the EF mount but at the moment 85% im looking at other brands so why not switch one or 2 of the cameras. I really really want a 17mm TS-e so I have to keep a canon body for that. But im selling my 85L to get the new sigma, i dont use it enough in 1.2 to justify the cost. so im thinking why not get a sony, sigma or nikon with this lens...

Im sure im not alone even though this forum might be a bit biased.... :)

That's the great thing about the canon register distance - you can adapt a ton of lenses, if you wish. You can't say that about most other bodies.

Why not get one body of each brand?
