Yup the grass is always greener on the other side. These sheep are on the wrong side of the fence at least 2 or 3 times a week. Course this time it looks like they've wondered a littler farther from the field then normal. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hah-Sandy!
Yep, I'm afraid with that fence --if those were my sheep--they would always be out. They just crawl under it!
I'm not exactly sure what breed of sheep those are. They could be a breed called Jacob Horn. I have one myself--see his link here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=95194
But , usually they have more than two horns--four--but not always, mine only has two.. The color and fleece is about right.
There are hundreds of breeds of sheep--so they actually could be a cross of some kind.
Guess I gotta look at the sheep breed book!

PS: After loooking them up--they really look like purebred Jacobs.

Nope not road kill, however if these clowns keep getting out, I've even seen them on the other side of the road, they maybe placed on the menu. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Thanks for the info Bonnie, I have know Idea what breed they are, I'm amazed that the owner hasn't stapled a wire mesh fence to the rails. luckly it is a road with little traffic and mostly locals who drive it and are aware of the escape artist sheep. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Those are the funniest looking sheep I have ever seen! I wonder if that's where spotted sweaters come from? :)

Nice shot, Sandy!

Cool looking sheep, Sandy. Someone should have a chat with their owner to prevent Rack of Lamb as the special down at the local diner.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

never saw ones like that before and I am in among sheep every day Sandy :shock::lol:

but to think my sheep were questioned about their blue and red marks :shock:

yours are born with these spots:rolleyes::cool:
:mrgreen:

it's lovely to see them
(the sheep)

glad you were not hit from behind when you pulled up;)

:mrgreen:

over 400 sheep followed me across the plains one day
they then surrounded me in a wide circle, leaving me plenty of space
I was absolutely shocked :shock:
not because of the space but ........
:lol::lol:

for about 10 minutes I stood there in awe just gaping at them all around me .....in a wide circle :shock:
I had not got my camera but even if I had I could not have captured what the sight must have been like
( the shot would have needed to have been taken from above)
:lol::lol:
I moved out of the circle and they followed me in a single line behind until I got to my bicycle ,
which was hidden in furze bushes further on

I was a bit stunned for the day I can tell you
:rolleyes::lol::rolleyes:
