Goldfinch in fall

I get goldfinches sporadically in the yard and this one waited in line for the frenetic chickadees to open a space at the feeder as I snapped away. The background colors are a result of the leaf covered hillside in the back of my house and a few trees that haven't lost their leaves yet.

very nice shots Michele, I lkie #1 best. Beautiful little guys and fun to watch chasing each other away from the feeders plus a wonderful little chirping song they sing.

Very nice shooting Michele. I've too have been making photographs of our goldfinches lately as they have decided to stay around our yard this year.
