Florida Keys - Kestrel and Osprey

So, we spent a day driving down to the Keys and back from Florida City. Had a fantastic trip and on the way back stopped to look at this bridge whilst having a spot of lunch.

Within seconds, a kestrel landed literally just above us to see what we were doing. Yet again, it sat and eyed us up and down for a good ten minutes, allowed me to get out of the car and approach him, didn't even bother when I went back to the car. He only flew off when my husband got out of the car to throw away the lunch rubbish!! As we left the osprey flew overhead. Another superb stroke of luck!

Nice shots Sheryl. What is up with that bridge? Looks like recycled cardboard for the surface and railing.

Thanks, Chuck. I thought that about the bridge as well from a distance!! Here's a 100% crop, you can see it's all twisted metal and concrete.
