Trying different pp again. Any tips on improving these would be much appreciated.

I was not. I shot with a CPL which didn't work out too well for the first one. I decreased saturation which I think resolved this.

yes the sensor is indeed extremely dirty, since you only shot this at f/11 and can see dust spots.

I am no expert I just want to share my opinion here

the 2nd shot could be improve IMHO by using an ND filter and softening the effect of the water :D

Thanks for the feedback all. I was thinking about sending the Camera to Canon for cleaning but may just try it myself. I had no idea the sensor was so dirty :/

I like the PP on the first one, its different but it brings out the detail more. Too bad the top of the house was cropped off. But other wise, I like it! The waterfall is a pretty scene. What was your Exif for that if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was going for a "fairytale" look while trying to retain a sharp image. Both were 6 shot HDR with exf:

Exposure Time 1/30.000000000000004

cleaning a sensor is amazingly simple, don't wait for shipping it takes 2 minutes to do it yourself and it's fairly fool proof.

I think I'm going to just take it in to a local camera shop. They charge 40 for the cleaning and that seems to be about the going rate to purchase the materials to clean it. Unless someone has a better solution :) I tried to air blow it already and I think that made things worse.
