1 looks a little bit dark, no real subject
I was trying to get the face of the wave... but I can see maybe it didn't quite work how I hoped... Maybe I need a bigger wave
I quite like #2, maybe boost the colors a little bit.
as in more saturation? I just started using lightroom 3 and am really new to the whole post precessing thing.
#3 is good but it makes the mountains seem really small. Perhaps it would look good cropped as a pano?
I did have some of the sky cropped out but decided to leave it... Maybe I'll take it out again

I love the composition on #1 and #2; especially #1. A cpl could make the clouds pop and gnd's are always nice to hold back the sky. Iwould love #1 with just a little longer shutter so maybe a three stop nd (thats just me) #1 is an excellent image and maybe just perk them up a little in pp.
Yeah I would like to get some filters but I've already used my camera gear money for the month. It's high on the list though

I don't normally shoot landscapes but I shoot enough "water" or "ocean shore" themes. The shore has to be interesting enough to become the subject of the composition. Looking for the special lighting, waves hitting rocks, and etc. Otherwise, they look very uninteresting. The mountain range can be an interesting background but they seem to be too far out. That large body of water in front of it does not contribute more attentions.
Thanks. I'll try to look for that next time.
Thank you everyone for your advice. Theres always room for improvement, especially for a beginner like me.
