1/ I am drawn to the unusual wavy edge on the right but it is not big enough in the crop or showing enough interesting detail so I am disappointed. No idea of type of flower.

2/ Again the main object, the rose centre disappoints - rather flat contrast and lacking details.

3/ Best of the bunch(!) Much better detail/focus/contrast. I think a closer crop here too.

I'm new to this forum and I've just started using my DSLR, so I will give you my laymans opinion...

1 & 3: I think the pics should have better composed. In case they are crops, then maybe you should try to crop differently. I dont think they need much PP though. I would probably only use the single rose which is in complete focus. The others are not really adding to the pic.

2: I think it needs some PP to make it more interesting. maybe jack up the blacks and add some saturation. Perhaps even increase the contrast and add some vignetting.

I'm just an amateur, so I'm just telling you what I would try out if these were my pics. But I'm sure the experts on this forum would have excellent ideas for you.

3rd is best IMO. first one seems a bit off centered, but the roses are beautifully bloomed and you've captured that velvety sheen you get from nice roses - me likes

When taking photos of flowers I suggest picking away the spoiled parts and try to make it look as pristine as possible.

I don't like the distracting green ... I think it might look better if you changed the color to black (many shades of red with black filling the gaps. And whatever that is in front of the main rose is too distracting to me. I would remove it. I think the main rose should be sharper.

I am not a fan of the composition and sharpness. For my taste, I might like it better if you were using a macro lens, or tubes to make a very soft oof dreamy abstract. But for my taste if you are going to show a lot of the flower (wide) I would prefer if more was in focus and sharp.
