New OP magazine was waiting in my mail-box when I got home last night. Editorial has a quote from George Lepp:

"The lesson: When you encounter an animal in the wild, you represent all of that individual's cumulative experiences with humans, and you are adding to that experience with your own actions."

Quite profound, and something for all of us to keep in mind.

The beginner clicks the shutter and says "Let's see what I got." ... The experienced photographer thinks "How can I capture what I see?"
