I have this tripod, it's easily worth twice that. In fact, I think I paid $46 for mine.

Awesome buy.

I also have this tripod and you can't beat that price with a stick. As well as you I paid $40something for it and thought I got a good deal.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

After thinking about it for a minute I went ahead and ordered another one for my 11 yr old Daughter for Christmas. She has a Rebel XT and loves photography. This will make a nice little gift.

this tripod works ok, but isn't all that stable if you use any heavy lenses. excellent at 25 dollars shipped though! mine is sitting on a shelf at home

It's nice tripod with shorter lenses. Really I felt like $40 was a steal when I bought mine. I could see it being a $100 tripod at the camera shop under a different name.

DO you think that may be because of the head or are the legs not that stable?

Would this work well for a speedlight stand?

I have this tripod and I too felt it was a great deal at $40. I've used it with a speedlight as well, works fine. Great buy if you're looking for your first tripod.

Got one as well. I'll find a use for it or gift it.
