So I decided I wanted to find out what the rave is all about with C stands. I wanted to add one to my home studio mostly to use for a hairlight with a grid arm or as my key light for one of my Bees. Here's what I've been looking at thus far:

Avenger A2033D (external link)- !$200 shipped to me and currently out of stock at B&H

Avenger A2033LKIT (external link)- ~$163 since there is free shipping for this specific model

Matthews Century C+ Turtle Base Grip Arm Kit - 10.5' (external link)- $195 shipped

I know people are happy with both Matthews and Avenger. Any reason to go with the Hollywood style over Turtle? Anyone recommend a roller stand or even a Stand/boom combi over a C stand? This will mostly be used for indoor studio and ocassionally outdoors if needed. I know theres plenty of threads about all the different C stands but wanted to post these specific choices. Feel free to recommend other alternatives as well. Thanks!

Veering towards getting a roller stand instead as it will primarily be used indoors:

Avenger A5033 Folding Base Wheeled Studio Stand

Maybe combine that with the D600 boom. Anyone?
