No one here has one - a joke. Did you do a search on this forum? Probably 159 threads on that lens.

I'd say a bit too long on crop, but on FF its a pretty decent lens. Unless you don't really need anything wider than ~45mm

Well if you already ordered it, not much point in getting reviews NOW! :)

It's a great way to not buy a Canon 24/70 with a FF body :)

I thought it sucked, but lots of others seem to like it.

I loved mine when I had it, but it morphed into a 70-200 for my son's little league games... If the focal range is good for you, you should like it...

I had a great copy-rivaled the 24-70L I had. I used it as a walk around at times I felt I needed more reach-indoors and outdoors.

Check out the lens sample thread. Lots of great images by a lot of great photographers are there.

truly amazing sharpness, sharper than the 24-105L I tried, very, very sharp on APS-C (on FF it can get a little rough at the far edges and corners though, although with my copies the 24-105L did even worse there)

AF veryyyy slow

macro contrast and color and tint are ok but nothing stunning and not as good as an L or the tamron 17-50

i liked the 17-50 range better on APS-C, but that is an individual thing and it did serve as my walkaround on a 20D for the year before the 17-50 came out

Generally I like this lens. I had it three times and traded it off to fund other things. I had one copy of it (the only one made in China) that I thought was sub par. The others all did well. I had one copy that was outstanding; sharp, quick focus, good low light performance (I sold it to get a 50D, BIG mistake).

I have an issue with quality control from this manufactuerer. Its either boom or bust with them.

Ain't nothin but a thing.
