(not directed at the OP).It's not that everyone with a camera thinks they need to charge, it's that everyone that buys a $500 slr undercuts local pros by not charging or those that don't charge, someday decide that they want to charge a reasonable amount of money and cant because their customers are used to getting something for free.
OP the right price you should charge is whatever price your images are worth (or whatever price people are willing to pay).
