IMO - The sky looks abit off. Almost like there are stripes with different colors. In addition, the water looks pixilated. Outside of that, I don't think there is enough going on to keep interest.

It's hard to tell because the jpg compression is so high, it's very distracting

#1 is nice in terms of composition. Great use of repeating pattern in the docks, the balance between docks, water, and sky is excellent. The light is excellent. Print tone could be improved. I would most likely PP the docks (raise highlights) to make them pop in contrast to the softer darker backdrop.

#2 has an interesting visual problem regarding composition. The right lower frame forces the eye into a box leaving the frame with no where to turn and since the boat is the most prominent element in the image it is the first directive to the viewer. Had the boat been facing the other direction something entirely different occurs: the viewer is invited to climb on the boat to go to the land mass in the background.

Thanks all for C&C. Thanks Jetcode for C&C on photo. Helps alot. Its alwys been a problem for me to compress a 20MB Picture to 100KB and still retain its quality. Fortunately the originals dont suffer from everything that the compressed versions sufferr from.

Thanks again,
