I don't have a lighting kit and was trying to use my reflector to my advantage. So I'm wondering is this is good, bad, ok use of my reflector? I don't have a stand for it so it was propped against my legs through the whole shoot. Anyways, suggestions, advice?

Given the kit and the way it was used I'd say you did quite well. You definitely have the concept down. The reflected light coming from below is not doing your beautiful model any favors though - not bad, just not as good as it could be if the light was coming in from a bit higher.

I like the back light and the wind blown hair. Actually a very nice image.

Thank you! I need to get a stand for my reflector or an assistant. Lol. If I could've done butterfly lighting I think it would've been better

Here's another shot. It wouldn't load this morning and still won't load. I think this one is way better. Sorry it's a link. For some reason, I can't get my sizing right.

The light on her face and upper body is good. I don't care for the fade off towards her feet but that's an easy fix.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. I did a vignette in ps that I can take off and her feet won't fade out.

Where did you get them developed (or did you do it)? Then you load them up and PS them?
*Just wondering how that all works as I am a film dummy :-)*

Curious - what makes you think they are film shots?

When I was doing 35mm film I would develop them locally (Costco) and scan the negatives. I could then edit in Photoshop. I've done the same more recently for some friends who shoot slides. My scanner wasn't all that great but they only wanted postage stamps made from the slides.

Lol, pprice is on my Facebook and my friend here in town. He saw where I post on Facebook that I had shot these with film.

Paul, Deville camera developed them and yes I did a little ps work. They were kinda washed out and a little red. I wish I had the ability to develop myself. Maybe one day I'll have the find to turn my spare bathroom into the darkroom I want.

Here's another shot that I've managed to get uploaded. Didn't use the reflector on this one... just the sun.

I like it! Nothing like the sun. The shadow even works for this one.
