Reginald Da Wagon (1993 Ford Escort wagon) in the wild...

Haven't posted in this section in a while...I was out roadtripping today, and thought I'd snap a few pics of Reginald in between shooting snow-capped mountains and waterfalls

Photo specifics: 1D3 + Tamron 1.4x TC + 70-200 f4L
Car Specifics: more or less stock but with VW alloys, Canuck Motorsports 1.8" lowering springs, Monroe SensaTracks, front and rear upper strut bars, rear lower Mazda MX-3 Precidia tie bar...even with the crappy winter wheels/tires it's a blast on the twisties...even more so with the summer 16s on it Clicked over to 258,000km on the way home, purrs like a kitten, and I use the hell out of this thing (camp in it in the summer, haul stuff with it all the time, etc)...I've owned 15 cars including some pretty rare/custom ones, but this is definitely my favourite so far

Lol I *KNEW* I was gonna get called on the space thing haha...unfortunately in both shots there would have been clutter if I gave it more breathing room Now that I've discovered the awesome power of the 70-200 for this kind of stuff I'll go out and take the car out for a somewhat proper "shoot" and give it the breathing room it deserves

p27: haha thanks! The funny part is I got it dirt cheap...$500! With a recent timing belt, water pump, brakes and clutch...I put 25,000km on it in the last 11 months and all I had to do was an alternator ($150-ish and half an hour) and rear struts and strut mounts ($200-ish)...

Still gets 42+ mpg through the mountains on a good day
