It was absolutely amazing! I have hiked over a 100 miles in the AT, and some out west also. This is by far way more scenic than anything I have seen in the states. It was not the toughest hike ever, but if your wanting pictures it does take longer to climb. The trails here also are amazingly well marked and well maintained... a true pleasure to hike on.

This is a great shot with the higher vantage point. The blue color cast seems better as well compared to your previous picture.

Breathtaking: I love that cloud hanging on the mountain top.

This is actually by the Schilthorn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schilthorn (external link))
This is on my hike from Gimmelwald to the Schilthorn. The lake that you see is lake Grauseeli. It is not too far from the top of the Schilthorn if you were to hike down it... but it sure is a rewarding treat for someone hiking all the way up from Gimmewald. If you can make your way out to this area, you wont regret it. I was very sad leaving it... and more sad I went to Italy before I came, because I would have rather kept hiking around!!

As would I! :)

Thanks, glad ya'll like it. I almost got to go back, but it would have been expensive and I was worried about the weather... so I had to call it off, but next time I come back to Europe I am hoping to make it back!
