Classic, first he tells people they need to be learning video.
Closes with pointing toward the magazine industry, which is rapidly dying out, and the vast majority of the photos they use came from stock or for free.

Agree with MikeKelly, number 1 should be switching majors. If you think making money is hard in photography now give it a couple more years.
There will always be some guys who are amazing and are the very best technically and with great marketing skills that are going to make good money, but that group is dwindling.

I have seen huge changes in just the last two years, the market is changing at warp speed.
