Mom and Dad are both military, the dad is deployed at the moment, so the session was Mom, 5yro boy and 2yro girl.
It was a hard, neither child wanted to be photographed, I tried squeaky dog toy-my rocket blower lens cleaner, my pink fish that I can wear on my head, a flashing duck attached to my lens, bubbles... I tried playing with them, I tired negotiating, I think I tried everything LOL... There was one scary moment when the little girl threw stones at my camera...
The aim was to get some relaxed fun shots with some posed shots too. We managed one shot with all three of them in the picture, The girl was refusing so mom and boy edged closer and closer to her and eventually we got the shot below. A milisecond before the shot the girl was not pulling faces and a millisecond after the shot she started moving away! I dont know how Family photographers put out constantly good results...tips appreciated!
Pictures came out great, doesn't look like you had to force them into anything, very natural poses. I like the editing as well.
