Got a couple of shots of birds, not as much then I would have liked, but better then none... Some need ID so plz chime in....

1) Black-necked Stilt (corrected to "Hawaiian Stilt" by Chubri777), in my bird book it just has the black-necked stilt, no Hawaiian, thanks...

2) Red-crested Cardinal

3) Cattle Egret ??

4) Couldnt figure this guy out... I am sure he is common, but cant isolate him in the book. (Common Mynah as pointed out by SacMac)

5) These guys were everywhere and very small. Had to use a 2x on my 100-400 to get a close up shot, again, i couldnt find them in the book (Common Waxbill is also called St. Helena's Waxbill, by icassel)

6) This is the last one I couldnt ID... (red-vented Bulbul as IDed by icassel, thanks!))

#5 might be common waxbill and #6 might be a red vented bulbul

Its always hard to tell form books... I like the iPhone app cuz it also has alot of real pictures. I use the pictures to confirm the ID cuz the painted pictures in the books suck!

Nice set of shots. At first glance, number 4 looks like a mynah bird. :D
