Fall colors from Yosemite

I was at Yosemite last Tuesday and was lucky to catch the last part of whatever fall colors still left there. In the valley, most places were already pass peak but there are still some colors left along hw120.

Fantastic work! Love the colors...which lens did you use for the last picture? Probably my favorite one.

@Fast Feddy, yes last weekend storm dumped about 6-8 inches of snow in higher elevation and pretty much killed all the leaves. :(

@dynamic03, that was with the 16-35 MKI and 1dsMKII and a CPL.

Nice series of shots. #4 is just so perfect with the slight frost outlining and highlighting the leaf from the BG.

Thanks yagimax, fall color and early morning light are probably the best combo. Can't hardly go wrong with these. :)

Thanks Julian. It was clear all day and the cloud started to move in as day ended. About 30 min after this shot, the cloud thicken and it went dark. On the drive home, it rained pretty good too.
