Has anybody "Appended Dust Delete Data" for their camera?
I see the feature offered on my 400D.
I haven't noticed any dust in any of my photos.
Are there any downsides to Appending Dust Delete Data? One might speculate it would introduce some kind of small artifact or smudge part better than a dust mark, but not as good as a clean image.
If dust was present internally, how about just cleaning the sensor rather than using Append Dust Delete Data?
