Anyone done business with the filter company?

Has anyone ordered filters from "2filter.com?" I found it from reading a thread, and I'm looking to purchase a good quality circular polarizer. I'm tired of using my inferior one, and I'm now willing to try to purchase a better quality one. Lately, I've only been using B&H. Very happy with them; but I'd love to spend as little as I need to.
Any input with "2filter.com" would be appreciated. . . .

Mike

search here you'll find many people recommend them. I got my filter holder and bought several filters along the way, always had good service and fast shipping.

always a good place to look:

Every time that I've ordered something from 2filter, I always got the inevitable "not in stock" email response. I finally gave up on them...

I've ordered lots of stuff from them over the past few years. Everything I ordered shipped out immediately. Good service!

I get all my filters from them, mainly B + W. Believe it or not, B&H is not an authorized dealer for B + W, the best filters out there IMO. However, 2filter is an authorized dealer, as is Adorama.

When I found that out, I decided to only shop at 2filter. Their prices are about the best I've found for a US based store, and there are very knowledgeable human beings answering the phone.

I have one one backorder now, it's the first time that's happened. However, I get a call every two weeks from them, updating me of the status of the order.

I've purchased filters and other gear from them for years and always had friendly, good service and found their prices to generally be lower than others.

I have used them when I got my Cokin filter setup and they were very helpful - suggesting the Hitech filters which work fine - I also got great deals on polarizer - they were very good about telling me about available stock - never had a problem

If they were to update their website to indicate if something was in stock or not (much like B&H and many other on-line vendors), I'd be more apt to do business with them. With the convenience of on-line ordering, I just feel that I shouldn't have to call them on the phone unless absolutely necessary. Not knocking them as a company, but the website is lacking (and sometimes difficult to locate a specific item).

the MRC versions of 2filter are, on the other hand, about $2 cheaper than Amazon.

I have used them, in fact I just bought a couple of B+W filters. Nice place and their prices are usually pretty good. Make sure to shop Amazon and others as well. I will split my order sometimes to get the best prices between them and another vendor.

I agree. Their website could have been designed much better, and a search function would help as well. Also, to be sure they have something in stock or not, you need to contact them first. Otherwise, you may be wasting your time.

They're great. I've purchased a few items from them, but they really need to redesign their website.
