After using it heavily, I found that the zoom and focus rings are a bit more fluid. Which makes shooting it even easier. It did seem a bit heavier for some reason but maybe that is because I havent shot in a few days. I am not saying it is heavy, but i havent shot with a 70-200 in about a month now. Another thing to note is that the focus was quick and responsive. IS is very very quiet compared to my mk I. Sharpness is sharper wide open and it seemed better paired on my mkIIn than my mk I was when I had it on there. (I always had my mk I on my 1dmkIIn so i felt like that would be a good test). overall, I recommend as an upgrade to the mk I.
