Today was one of those days for me where I was presented with an unbelievable variety of subjects. These five photos were taken today during a half hour at lunch time and then another half hour after work.

At lunch, I went for a walk at Dawson Creek Park and captured these three:

After work, I went back to the butterfly garden at Cook Park in hopes of getting some more shots. It was too windy there but still got one shot I kept.

While on my way out of Cook Park, this guy caught my eye...

Nice shots. I like the top one, especially since there a couple of black capped chickadees in my backyard that I'm trying to get postable pictures of. Prooving pretty difficult.

That sure looks lice a nice park.

Lightening the shadows will do a lot for the last one.

Well you have some keepers here but I have to say the Chickadee is to steep of an angle we are looking up it's vent here, the Turtle has the best composition and overall nice feel to it. Butterfly would be my next favorite here. Not sure about the last one, it has a natural feel to it with habitat and shadows but better lighting might make that a great shot like some flash to have put some spark into the eyes here.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I had fun today with the short time I had to shoot. The coyote was only there for a few seconds and was surprised to see him so early in the evening. :D

Great photos, Dave. I haven't seen that much wildlife in a month.
