OK, I've been trying to change my siggy for a few weeks and, though it looks like it's changed when I click on "save" and "preview", it always goes back to this one. Am I out of room to add anything else or is something else going on? Thanks for any info. :)

What do you want it changing to, I'll see if I can work it out for you.

Thanks! I was just going to add my big-girl lens, 85 1.8, to my equipment list. :)

Could you explain why I couldn't change it myself? What am I doing wrong? Will I be able to in the near future (I'm getting another camera.) It sure would be convenient if I could just adjust as I want/need. Thanks. :)

I'm guessing here, but it is possible that you had a lot of extra BB code that made your signature too long. Pete may have cleaned it up for you so that the forum would allow its length. When working on a signature with color changes, links, and font changes it is helpful to switch the editor mode and see if there is extra code that isn't needed. For instance, the last line of your sig, with the lenses listed could get really long if each lens had it's own set of BB code. Instead, the best way to do it is to have the code outside of the entire line, not each lens.

Does that make any sense?

Also, to keep the code length down I use **** to shorten any links, such as your facebook one which is quite long. Would free up extra space.

I have to admit that much of this is out of my league, technical-wise, but you've given me a place to start from. I'll see if I can figure it out -- thanks so much!
