Just got my new Rebel XT today!! Looks like I've got one heck of a learning curve ahead of me. :confused:


Canon 40D, Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L, Canon 50mm 1.4, Sigma 20mm 1.8
Lensbaby 3, Alien Bees strobes and accessories.

Yes, itll take you a while to learn the ins and outs of the camera, but youll have fun learning. Congrats on the new purchase, a wise one at that!

At the beginning it will all seem like its so hard to use, and you can get anything!
My suggestion: NEVER use the 'picture' modes.
You wont learn a thing, just go out there and experiment, but best of all, stick to this board.
Its full of VERY capable photographers!
Have fun anyway, its a VERY capable cam!

HAHAHAHAHAHA have two cats, been there, done that. Enjoy the camera, it can put out some really good images.
