It seems like a very fast sport with low lighting, which makes things hard. I would really like to see the shuttlecock in each image as that is the focus of your subject. yagimax Goldmember  More info | These pics look very good. Adding the shuttle in the scene completes the composition as already mentioned. However badminton is a tough sport to shoot without taking several thousand actuations for several matches. Sony A7RII, FE16-35, FE35 2.8, FE90 macro

If you shoot the on the same side where the racket is you capture a better view of the athletes facial expression as they tend to be facing at least slightly towards you. Have fun, these were really good for a first go. Agree. Can't see much of the faces. Also shooting upwards on a jumping smash, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
