Now that I've been incorporating ambient exposure equally as much as bounced flash photography I am pushing the limits of shutter speed.
f/2.8 is simply too slow for my taste but I'm testing how well the IS handles in slow shutter speed.
My daughter decided to stack a bunch of coins on the carpet.
This photo was taken (many others landed as well ) with my 1d3, 200mm, ISO 1250, f/2.8, 1/15 HAND HELD with aprox 4 cups of Americano coffees 
I would have used higher ISO's but to be frank the 1d3 isn't much of a performer in high ISO. ISO 1600 the Raw file is recoverable but the image starts to fall apart even with minimal pixel peeping.
minor quick PP. The fact that this is 1/15 SS handheld at 200mm is amazing.



It'll reduce my landscape bag considerably!
