Selective colouring as a technique has limited appeal.

The original seems underexposed to me...I'd work on the exposure before getting overly concerned about the selective coloring (which I don't think fits the mood of the photo). I also agree about the limited appeal aspect...

Agree that sc is rather passe these days but it kind of works here, my preference is the third version.

i would remove the top two images as i feel they detract from the quality of the last image. the last one looks nice and im sure your happy with it.

In the last one you've created a nice SC image. Now Stop, and promise never to do it again. Reliance on parlor tricks like this just slow your growth as a photographer.

Just a thought ... for the 3rd photo, maybe mute the color a little bit. You will still have your selective coloring, but it will not have as sharp as a contrast.

Generally, I think selective coloring can work if done in moderation and with the right image. It gets a bit tricky as many people just selectively color every photo for no reasons.

IMO, selective colour appeals to the "masses", but not photographers (or ones with taste ;))

Your image is tilted to the left, I agree with the top post who said that it makes him feel off balance, well it kinda makes me feel the same. I dont particularly like selective coloring, but this image seems to work, I agree with everyone, the last picture is nice, but I wouldnt have made the bridge so contrasty like the rest of the image as you are losing detail from the sides.

a white dress is not the best thing to do selective coloring on.... it don't help "pop" anything.

sky looks blown out and image looks soft, you have bigger fish to fry rather than worrying about selective coloring
