First cricket match attended and shot....
all with 300mm MF Nikkor on the 40D...ISO 3200, 1/250sec @ 4.5 (wide open)

Captured some good moments. Pictures seem a little grainy though.

What kind of helmet is the keeper wearing? Looks like a baseball one

I'll ask about the helmet....
These pics are heavily cropped....the field surrounding the "pitch" is bounded by a rope/ring and I couldn't get any closer....as it was, I was lucky they let me on the field at all....I was about 80 yards away....
I refrained from NR....
