7D PC Sync Issues

Hey Guys,

I'm having trouble triggering my AB800's using a PC Sync cord. It won't fire the strobes at all.
I've plugged it into the correct port, plugged into the strobe, powered by the vegabond, it should fire right?
But no. I have to connect up wireless triggers (Cactus's) and it works fine but as soon as i try and use a Sync cord (the same one that came with the AB's) it won't fire at all. It worked on my 40D and 50D. Have i not enabled some setting or disabled something?

Any help greatly appreciated, it's extremely frustrating!

Test your cord by shorting the center pin to the outside ring with a car key. If the strobe does not fire you need a new cord.
