Trying to post but unable to in BUY topic

I am trying to post in the BUY topic to locate a Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens for my son's Christmas present. I have been a member for quite a while, but mostly I lurk. Is there a way that I can post there?

The buy and sell forums have a 30 day /30 post requirement. Your post count is too low.

Yep, there's a few section so of these forums that require a certain post count to access.

You are likely to have better luck looking in the sell forum anyway. Most people who actually have something to sell throw an ad up and move their stuff pretty quickly. When I was first a member here I placed a wanted ad, no bites even though some were selling on the sale forum.

yea you have a better shot in the for sale section. Im dying trying to get my post count up too.
