NHRA Finals in Pomona, California. My first NHRA in 39 years. Not my best photos by far, but some great memory shots. I need to learn how to shoot drag races, it's not easy.

John Force crowned the 2010 NHRA Funny Car Champion.

POMONA, Calif. (AP) — John Force won his NHRA-record 15th Funny Car season championship Sunday, completing an improbable and emotional comeback from a horrific accident in Dallas three years ago that left the 61-year-old star's racing future in serious jeopardy.

Force won the season-ending Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals for his sixth victory of the year, beating Bob Bode in the final. Force became the oldest champion in NHRA history on the same day that the series crowned its youngest champion, 20-year-old Pro Stock Motorcycle rider LE Tonglet.

Good shots! I've found that it's really hard to get good exposure on night time nitro runs, but you did a very good job at it.

Thanks. I still got a lot to learn. I really need a 2.8 lens. I shot at ISO1600 and left the shutter at 1/125 sec, I could have used 1/250 or more.
