Took this on a bright sunny day with no clouds as you can tell. Let me know if the b/w works in this picture.

I'm a fan of negative space if the subject matter is interesting and this one just does not do anything for me. Way too much negative space and the subject is just the tip of a building hiding in the corner. As far as the B&W goes this would look like a grey card hanging on the wall. Any more points of view with this building?

The reason why I have the tip of this building because everything below this mark had construction boards covering the building.

It would be nice to see it once the construction is done, it looks like it will be an interesting building.

Agreed, too much white space here. I'd crop down to the right corner, so that you keep the same aspect, but the church at least fills the right side of the composition.

Nevertheless, I like what you're going for, just don't think this version is it. 8-)

I see what you mean, I guess my execution could have been better.

I like it for an ad. Put some clever little line of copy up there and your done.

As a stand alone photo, doesn't work so well.

i actually like this one, what kills me is the size of the water mark in relation to the size of the subject, what i do with my watermark is turn the transparency down to about 65%

I think a tighter crop would make this look better. Also since it's with direct sunlight, looks like some details are lost on the clock. I think the negative space is fine, but it's just a tad too much.

I'm a big fan of negative space images and shoot them a lot, but I'm not sure this one is all it can be in black and white. Colour maybe?...

I thought the b/w stood out more, I'll try to upload the color one.
