I've had visits from three different forum members over the last year. It's a great way meet people you might otherwise never get to know. I am a bit miffed, though. Not one of them are as attractive as either of these two.

(Sorry, ThomasCanty, LongWatcher, and IanD.)

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Great to see you have fun!

Next step is of course to arrange "girls of POTN" meeting in Helsinki :)

Well, I would take offense, but you happen to be correct...

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Pekka, I didn't think you were a girl. But it sounds like fun! Never been too Helsinki, only to the northern parts (Kemi,Oulo, Vasa, etc). :D

Me girl? Nope! I could not pass for a girl even if I dressed as one :) :) :)

Note to self: Make sure to bring along makeup case on my next trip to California and also pickup a supply of fake eye lashes.

But, seriously, it really is a great feeling (and experience) to meet, face to face, the people you have been "taking" to online, isn't it. :)

Re that "Ladies of POTN" meeting in Helsinki, I'm assuming that gentlemen aren't welcome? Anybody need a photographer (assuming male photographers are allowed) to document that meeting? :)

Maybe Pekka wants us all to himself? :D

Although it would be a hoot to see Pekka in high heels, a skirt and a long wig.

Pekka, aren't you coming to Sweden now and then with your collegues??

I've never been to Finland at all. On the other hand I've only been to Norway two times...

No offense, you bought lunch :)

and on the first trip I got to play with your 1DM2 and 24-70 lens (playing with that lens saved me some money), although playing with the camera probably didn't in the end.

We can't all have good looks otherwise there wouldn't be any male photographers.

Well, if I remember correctly, you got to meet Dieselgirl the year before ... that should compensate you for the other three

Best regards,
Andy

You're right, Andy. Dieselgirl is a very bright young lady with tons of personality. I wish she'd drop in from time to time.

I'd go to Finnland and Sweden any time. Ever since the early 1990's I've wanted to go to the places of Peter Forsberg and Teemu Selanne! Other place I wanted to go back then was Czechoslovakia, but alas that no longer exists :( so I would have to settle for Czech and Slovakia. :)
