I actually met my hubby (also named Ben) online.....
I just checked with my wife. I am forbidden from marrying anyone I meet online. (This is typical of the abuse I've put up with for 43 years.) Sorry ladies.

That big scary tower... my mom forced me up there (I'm suffering from very, very, very bad vertigo) and I was standing in the middle, grasping the inner wall, not wanting to look outside. But it's a nice city even if people didn't understand much Swedish. But it was worse in Jyväskylä (or how it's spellt), lucky thing we knew what Makkara was!!! At least we didn't have to starve. /Petra Hall

I have a passion for hand made cards, and this particular shopping round was to get the final touches for a wedding invitation that I was doing for a friend of mine in California. So my handy work was actually shipped over to USA! 90 invitations were done! *phew*

Not in the picture is the RSVP-cards and the cards where the couple is registered. The whole thing, including envelopes weighed almost 2 kilos when I shipped it out.

Turned out he was both nice and absolutely gorgeous looking. We lost touch though. ![]() Glad it worked out for you. I met a girl off a chat room once. It was the complete opposite I think of your meeting that guy. I didn't go out on a date for months after that "date" because she was so horrible that she turned me off women (turned off, but not forever). Funny thing is we emailed back and forth and talked on the phone for hours and she was ok. Just everything she told me was a lie that I found out later. Christopher J. Martin

But I liked to do the invitations for her as a gesture that I'll be there all the way. But who knows, maybe I'll strike gold in february next year and can surprise her and show up. I'm sure she can rustle up a seat for me in the back alley. /Petra Hall

Was she was practically a princess of the Bahamas, her Dad and Mom were millionaires (which explained the Car and everything else and the attitude.) Not that I care about money. I'd rather be poor and with some one I love then be rich and be with someone I hate. Money isn't everything. At least with me it isn't. My ex boyfriend kept telling me that if I wanted a rich man I should go for a Nigerian. Apparently the ones who come abroad to study/work are rich and the culture is all about showing of their money. This was later confirmed when I actually got to know a Nigerian classmate. He told me money's a big deal over there, especially cash. And he complained that due to the money culture the women only wanted men who'd spend it all on them. No wonder there were so many women hanging out around the Nigerian guys at my first Uni... Damn, if I had just been into photography at that time! I could have owned a really nice camera and some L lenses by now! My Photo Website -
